Unsigned Installers (Public Beta)

Installers are not code-signed during public beta. Follow these steps if your OS shows a security warning.

Windows

If SmartScreen blocks the installer, click More info → Run anyway. Verify the SHA-256 checksum above matches your download.

macOS

If Gatekeeper says the app is from an unidentified developer, open System Settings → Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway. Alternatively, right-click the app → Open.

Code signing (Apple Developer Program + Windows certificate) is planned for stable release. See troubleshooting for full instructions.

Installation Guide

Download the installer for your platform above.

Run the installer and follow the setup wizard.

Launch VisionDraft Desktop — onboarding will guide you through sign-in.

Choose Cloud, Desktop, or Hybrid execution mode.

Copy your local MCP URL and connect Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini.

Auto-Update

VisionDraft Desktop checks for updates on launch and every 4 hours.

Release channels: Stable, Beta, and Nightly. Beta is the default for public beta participants. Updates download in the background and install on restart.

Rollback: Settings → Advanced → Release Channel. Previous stable versions remain available for 30 days.
